About the event

In this immersive three-part series, participants will explore the sacred art of African ancestral altars and how these living traditions open pathways to ancient wisdom that can guide us through modern challenges. Rooted in the Nigerian Yoruba culture, where the spiritual system of Ifa originated, storytelling serves as a vessel for transmitting divine knowledge across generations.

Together, we’ll trace the journeys of the Ifa Orishas and uncover how their stories have evolved and intertwined throughout the diaspora, finding expression in practices such as Voodoo, Hoodoo, Santería, and even Catholicism. Through reflection, dialogue, and creative ritual, we’ll pull the threads of these connections to reveal the enduring power of ancestral memory and myth.
